Our election will be conducted using a secure, online election system called “Election Buddy”. Ballots will be emailed to members on March 1, 2017 and will come from “Electionbuddy Elections” (email@example.com) with the subject line “VOTE NOW! 2017 PTN Board of Directors Election”. During testing, these emails did not go to our junk folders, but please be sure to check yours if you do not receive a ballot from us on March 1, 2017.
All ballots must be cast by March 31, 2017. Reminder emails will be sent to those who have not voted. By using this online system, we will only know if members have voted, not how they voted. This will ensure anonymity of all ballots cast.
If we do not have an email address for you, you will be sent a ballot via postal mail. You may either return to us by mail or use a unique code provided on your ballot to vote online. Any family member who prefers to vote by mail rather than email may do so if they notify us no later than February 20, 2017. All mailed ballots must be received by March 31, 2017.
Each family membership may cast one ballot. You may select three candidates on each ballot, one for each position available. Professional and institutional members are not eligible to vote.
Nominations were reviewed by the PTN Nominating Committee and eight candidates were selected to be included on the ballot. Each candidate submitted a brief biographical sketch, and these are listed on the clickable links above. They will also be available on the ballot.
